Polish language in tourism

Clients can choose a course in one of three fields: medicine, business, tourism. The courses will mainly focus on lexis and phraseology, as well as practising the ability to read texts and create forms of expression typical for a given professional group. An important element of the courses is also training in so-called soft skills, including cultural and interpersonal ones, which have an impact on efficient communication in professional situations.

Polish medical language

The course programme includes:

  • body parts,
  • systems,
  • internal organs,
  • diseases and symptoms,
  • medicines and medical products,
  • people connected with the medical environment,
  • places connected with the medical environment,
  • doctor-patient relationship,
  • documents,
  • communicative situations,
  • developing the ability to apply linguistic knowledge (grammar, vocabulary, spelling) in communication activities.

  • The programme of the course includes:
  • basic specialist vocabulary of a given business area,
  • learning to conduct business talks,
  • negotiation techniques,
  • documents,
  • elements of legal language,
  • diplomatic etiquette,
  • communication situations in the workplace,
  • understanding and creating written texts,

  • developing the ability to apply linguistic knowledge (grammar, vocabulary, spelling) in communication activities.

The course programme includes:

  • basic specialist vocabulary on a given field of tourism,
  • vocabulary on tourist geography of Poland and the world,
  • terminology in the field of tourist infrastructure,
  • communication situations in the workplace,
  • planning and executing tourist services,
  • servicing clients using tourist services,
  • documents,
  • understanding and creating written texts,
  • using Polish-language sources of information,
  • developing the ability to apply linguistic knowledge (grammar, vocabulary, spelling) in communication activities.
